Thirteen Reasons Why I Love Hockey
- Its a very fast-paced game, so 60 minutes of hockey goes by much faster than 60 minutes of football
- Tickets are cheaper to get than football tickets
- There is a minor league
- Not only is there a minor league, but there is a team here so I can go see live hockey whenever I want
- Its (usually) a low-scoring, high-intensity affair
- Goalies = pure love
- Fighting is accepted and the (good) refs will let them go at it until someone falls
- A 0-0 shootout game is more exciting than a 0-0 football game
- Its (usually) indoors, so no worries about getting rained on if you go to a game
- Its played more than once a week, so there is always something going on
- Playoffs do not consist of one game, but up to seven exciting games per series
- The games, during the playoffs, can stretch for hours and hours, waiting for one goal
- Hot guys on ice. Who needs anything else?

I have never been to a hockey game. I think I would like it. Unlike football, I think I could follow hockey.
